So I have gimp 2.8 for windows and whenever I try to color something it crashes. I figured out that all the images need to be scanned in before I can start coloring. So I looked up how to scan images in gimp and I found out that I don't have a scanner. Then I went here: http://xsane.org/doc/sane-xsane-gimp-doc.html and that's where I got stuck. It seems like you can install different versions and I'm not sure what to do? Is it supposed to be installed already? Or did I install gimp wrong?
