Split a layer into many layers, one for each tile. This is useful for editing tile-based images for some games and applications.

It works fine, I just couldn't find it. Thanks for the help! :)

I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and Gimp 2.6.10, I put the .py file in my .gimp-2.6/plugins folder and made sure it was executable and that I had python support, but I can't find this filter after restarting GIMP. How do I get it to work? Thanks!

You didn't mention whether or not you changed the file from its .txt extension to .py

Check first to see if it is in fact a .py extension.

If so, then it should be showing in Layer/Split layer into tiles.
