This plugin will simulate a "molten material" effect for the given shape. To make this plugin work, draw some random blobs onto the canvas and start the "Molten Material" plugin from within Filters->Artistic.

Mahvin used it for the Jelly text at GIMPChat and Rod passed this link along. I remembered seeing this one a while back but didn't download/install it then since I didn't have Python. Now I do. Thank for the plugin. :)
